Mission: To equip young men with mentorship rooted in the Christian faith; in order to persevere through, and overcome the challenges that life presents.
Deliverance Youth Camp is an annual youth camp hosted by Deliverance Youth Ministries, at Gate Creek Lodge. Deliverance Youth Ministries is an Alaska Registered 501c3 status Non-Profit Organization, established in 2025 by MacKenzie and Ellie Butler, in partnership with fellow Army Veteran, dedicated teacher, and best friend Grant Miller. We aim to help young men grow in strength, character, and faith through backcountry experiences that challenge the body and transform the heart. Our mission is rooted in the belief that true strength begins with a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that His Word provides the foundation for every step we take.
2026 Deliverance Youth Camp Dates:
Who: High school boys entering grades 10-12.
What: 10-day wilderness Bible camp!
Where: Gate Creek Lodge in Trapper Creek, Alaska!
When: July 27th, 2026 - August 4th, 2026.
Camp Cost: Nothing! Campers are asked to bring a small packing list that includes the basic necessities such as toiletries and basic apparel; but the remainder of camp costs including lodging, food, and even flight costs, are covered by Deliverance Youth Ministries fundraising efforts.
Camper Application Deadline: June 15th, 2026.
At the core of our programs is the Word of God, our primary guide and the source of lasting transformation. We pair this with the unparalleled terrain of remote Alaska, where the rugged landscape offers both beauty and challenge. Here, in the midst of God’s creation, participants face safe, low-risk outdoor obstacles that echo the shaping experiences young men have relied on for generations.
Our time in the wilderness is enriched by small-group Bible study, grounded in doctrinally sound, time-tested interpretation of Scripture. With a clear focus on the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His redemptive work for each of us, these studies create space for honest reflection, meaningful conversation, and spiritual growth.
